Johnson+Southerland led the effort to renovate a building in the Sand Point Historic District at Magnuson Park for use by this small Seattle-based independent high school. The educational spaces include a large movement/dance space, large and small classrooms, science and art rooms, administration and counseling offices and a student commons. The renovated space comprises over 15,000 square feet and provides space for 100 high school students and 15 staff.

The former naval shops and drafting offices is a brick clad, timber and steel-framed structure which was completely remodeled, including new mechanical and electrical systems as well as all new interior finishes. All exterior features were reviewed by both the City of Seattle and Federal Historic Review committees.
