SUSTAINABILITY:
Solar Panels, natural ventilation, sustainable finish materials, low flow plumbing fixtures, high efficiency lighting systems.

Begun in 1999 as a master plan, this 110,000 square feet project provided a new classroom building for grades pre-K through 5 s well as a new library, community room, gymnasium, play areas and parking garage for the entire school. The project replaced 50 year-old buildings and provided much need additional physical education space on the tight urban site. The project included a playground and large synthetic turf playfield over an underground parking garage for 125 vehicles.
