The improvements to the popular group camp facility at Rasar State Park along the Skagit River include new parking, signage, picnic shelters, a playground, trails and a future event facility and cabins. An accessible interpretive trail is conceived of as an entire landscape including a meandering river trail with embedded messages about the formation of the flood terrace site. The design team collaborated with Parks staff on how to leverage park resources and maximize results on a limited budget.
