CLIENT: South Puget Sound Community College

Steve Southerland, acting as Principal-in-Charge for the Miller-Hull Partnership, provided concept and campus planning for this satellite campus of South Puget Sound Community College. Located on a 75-acre site in rural Lacey Washington, the first phase was the siting of two 70,000 gross square-feet classroom and Campus Center buildings along with parking. Future possible building and recreation facilities along with associated parking and maintenance buildings were also developed.

The site includes two wetlands and associated buffers which the campus plan embraced and enhanced with trails and interpretive elements. The site is to be shared with a large area detention facility and a future fire training center.
